“Just Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

It was my and partner's first year anniversary and we were booked into this hideaway right in the City of Pretoria. It was an unforgettable experience and we will definitely go back. Even though our room was right next to the highway, there was no noise at all. The place is filled with little touches of elegance and the staff are just absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and served very well, our spa treatment was to die for and the atmosphere created for our romantic dinner was just amazing.

If you want to pamper yourself before heading on a long flight, Waterfalls Boutique Hotel is perfect: first class and spacious rooms, quality dining, a pool, and easy access from or to the the highway and Tambo Airport. Pretoria is worth a day or two to see the Union Buildings, the Voertreker Monument and the Botanical Gardens. The rooms offer up quiet, private views, and some have both indoor and outdoor showers. The restaurant is personalized to the clientele and offered a good selection of very good food. The personalized service, coordinated a manicure for my spouse in our room, a nice touch to soften the 24 hour flight homeward bound.

Room Tip: The honeymoon suite has a beautiful balcony for morning coffee and an outdoor shower. It is private...

This hotel was above my usual budget but we decided to splash out and treat ourselves. This was not quite to be. Our room was small and dominated by bulky furniture appropriate for a much bigger space. The location is near the highway so there is a certain amount of traffic noise. I found it expensive for what we got and there are other places that give a lot more for much less. So, a bad choice, and I will not be back. Staff were friendly enough and there were many sweet touches but not enough to justify the high rate. I felt a bit ripped off which is an unfortunate experience. Breakfast service was slow and the coffee machine kept having something else requiring attention.

Waterfalls B, Manager at Waterfalls Boutique Hotel, responded to this review, August 30, 2012
The Management of Waterfalls Boutique Hotel only strives to render best quality of service to our guests and clientele. We have received hundreds of appraisels for good service and outstanding facilities over the past months. According to our records we never had a guest booked in with the name as per the review, who probably confuses us with another establishment.

My stay at Waterfalls Boutique hotel was a truely memorable experience, one that will surely be repeated. The tranquil sound of the waterfall and fountains was enough to let me escape the hurried mindset that the city can depict on one. This together with the scenic view makes for a stay to rejuvenate mind and body. The rooms are just what you'd expect from a boutique hotel, classy with attention to the smallest detail, romantic lighting and privacy. The atmosphere that greets you from the first step inside is one of warmth and hospitality. It being winter I particalarly enjoyed the fire place with a hot drink and was delighted to find that the food was prepared with a love for food that can't be taught. All round, a well appreciated stay.
I would also like to express a special thanks to the manager, Kristine Moodie, for making my stay absolutely exceptional. I can assure you the above and beyond service doesn't go unseen.

I was in South Africa on business and was fortunate enough to discover Waterfalls Boutique Hotel in Pretoria. Absolutely stunning in every way. The waterfall and pond were magical at any time of the day. Filled with koi carp, ducks and the surrounding views were breathtaking. I could have sat there staring for hours. I had a fabulous time and especially enjoyed an exclusive out door dining experience. The rooms are big and stylish with the added luxury of having an outside shower. The staff were extremely helpful made sure that all of my needs were met. I found this hotel to be a hidden treasure that is not to be missed. I will most definitely be staying there again

The moment you walk in you feel at home, we were greeted by the friendly staff and after a short check in were showed to our room which was outstanding in every sense of the word.

The Boutique Hotel has a very intimate and private feel to it where you aren't bombarded by hundreds of staff but the quality remains of 5 star standards.
The food was delicious and the service was done with a smile.

Well done to the Waterfalls team and a special thank you to management who made our stay an unforgettable one

Big Thank You
My partner and I were guests at Waterfalls Boutique Hotel a few days ago. Not only did this exciting new hotel venue and its unique & romantic restaurant impressed us, but their food were divine. Congratulations to a stunning and well organized operation and a big thank you to the management and staff that made sure we’ve had more than an enjoyable stay. Should I ever need to stay over in a guesthouse or hotel in Pretoria again, I would choose no other than Waterfalls Boutique Hotel.
