Situated in the Brooklyn Mall near my guest house popped in here for a quick meal and orders what was effectively fish and chips and a beer.

6 good sized fillets of battered fish arrived. Too much for me but it was tasty and enjoyable. Service was efficient and the cafe itself was a good spot for people watching. Incredibly cheap when compared to UK. Around £6 the lot!

My wife was very keen for us to go to Tasha's for breakfast and everything was great up until I bit into the sirloin steak that was part of my breakfast! It had no taste and I could easily have been made to believe that it had been boiled. How can steak be cooked in a way that it is totally bland?
My wife did enjoy her berakfast a lot and some of the hummus on her plate went towards trying to make my steak better.
The service we received was good and friendly though. I would rather go elsewhere in future though

We love Tasha's ambience and food offerings as a rule, but ordered the signature dish today, i.e. Biltong and avo which did not live up to the expectation. The overall presentation did not entice the appetite at all. Based on previous experiences at Tasha's we expected only the best, however it was evident that all ingredients were soaking for a couple of days in one big bowl before it was served. The limp lettuce and strawberries were stripped from its colour - did not appear to be fresh and a big disappointment for R144 per salad. However, the spectacular cappuccino is worth another visit.

Tasha's is one of those places that never lets you down. The fact that you're lucky if you get a table says something in itself, its popular! Prices are reasonable, food is great and portions are generous. We love breakfasts at Tasha's

Tasha's has great food and a very nice atmosphere. Personally I find the menu a little limited. However, the dishes I do like, I like VERY much! They have an interesting selection on the salad menu that I really like. The food is always tasty and salads are beautifully fresh. They make good quality coffee - something I always appreciate. One drawback about Tasha's is that it can get extremely noisy simply because of the layout of the restaurant. It's a great, viby place to go to though and I will easily recommend it to others. (They have yummy cocktails too!)
