We did have a booking error with the venue after explicitly booking a twin room and being given a small double. I actually had to be really firm about changing it or being given a refund, and we were then upgraded to a big apartment downstairs. Parking is also a known issue with the property, as the cars get stacked behind each other, which reduces your peace of mind when you worry about either parking someone in or getting parked in. They need to address this or it will continue to be a pain point.
That apart, everything was in perfect order. The location is really good for Pretoria, as it's in a quiet upmarket neighborhood, close to the N1 highway, which means you get into the city quite easily, although you'll be paying toll each time you get on or off the highway.
The facilities are clean and suitably serviced each day, and the reception was helpful. The upstairs entertainment area is a big plus, with a free pool table and plenty of space, including a decent view over the northern suburbs. The breakfast was plenty, and although the toaster was broken, the personally cooked eggs were a bonus.
Overall a good recommendation, especially at the very good price on offer.
