I was interested to read previous reviews with complaints about animals in small cages but this is not a "Game Reserve" so you cannot expect the same conditions as the Kruger Park for example. This is a small nature reserve and it gives you a great opportunity to get up close to wild animals that you may never see out in the wild. For a family with kids this is a great attraction as the kids get a chance to interact with tiger, lion and cheetah cubs etc. There is also a swimming pool, barbecue areas and "jumping castles" for the little kids. The reserve has an area to drive around to see many different buck, zebra, buffalo, rhino, lions, wild dogs, cheetahs etc.
My husband had great fun testing his driving skills on the "off the beaten track" 4x4 only trails.
The restuarant food is average and is Ok if your hungry and just need to fill up on a burger and chips.
For a day outing with the family this is definitely a worthwhile visit. For those seeking a more authentic wild life experience - go to the Kruger Park.
