De Kuilen Country House welcomed my husband, daughter and I with open arms on an icy cold Jhb winters night. Whilst experiencing an electricity outage we decided to look for a B&B close to where we reside and there we found this magical haven on our door-step. We arrived only to be welcomed with a glass of red wine and warm hospitality Our cottage more than exceeded our expectations with 5 star finishes and everything you needed was right at our finger tips. The warm glow of the lit fire was a special treat to come "home" to and warmed the cockles of your heart. Breakfast was absolutely divine and sharing lovely stories with Anne-Marie (hostess & owner) was a rare treat.

De Kuilen Country House has the most beautiful surroundings and is close to all amenities, making your stay not only convenient but totally hassle-free. We would recommend this awesome retreat for business travel, family get-aways or a romantic weekend away.

Anne-Marie, a huge thank you to you and your amazing staff it was such a pleasure to meet you and stay over at your "TOP CLASS" guest house.

We truly enjoyed it so that we were quite disappointed when the electricity outage problem was rectified and we had to return home.

I have stayed at De Kuilen a few times and it has now become my preferred accommodation when on business in Gauteng. lovely to arrive to a bottle of champagne. The area has many restaurants but the best supper was at De Kuilen,top class food and presentation.

We recently booked an overseas business partner into De Kuilen as it was conveniently close to our offices in Fourways.

From the help, advice and friendliness we received from Anne-Marie when making the booking on behalf of our guest through to his absolute amazement at the accomodation, meals, service and surroundings - when he arrived need to be recorded

I had a family reunion at de kuilen cottages and had the experience of a lifetime. I stayed in the Treetop cottage and imagine waking up to birds chirping, a breakfast fit for a king served by ever smiling and courteous waiters and over and above it all, the wonderful hostess Anne-Marie waltzing around making sure everything is tiptop. Keep it up. Will surely return.
