I recently arrived back from an international trip and stayed the night at the Intercontinental Hotel at O R Thambo Airport. I decided to visit the Camelot Spa and have a full body massage. I actually do not know where to start but this was the worst massage I have ever had, one towel was used to cover parts of my body while the rest was exposed, the massage bed does not have a head hole to rest your face in, so i was offered a towel to rest my forehead on, but still my nose poked into the bed, I eventually took the towel out and rested my head to the side but this causes cramp eventually and a stiff neck, so I had to keep turning my head. The therapist massaged half my legs with the towel having been squeezed in between my groin area and covering half my leg. The eye cover had some tissue on it and it kept falling off my eyes. The oil was basically slapped onto my body and rubbed and the therapist's body kept on being pushed into me as she was trying to massage me and stretch over me. It was just unbelievable that after 30 mins I almost stood up and left but thought the therapist may just be or at least be totally embarrassed so I stayed the 60 mins. I do not entirely blame her as there is obviously some serious lack of training here and there were some other smaller issues that it almost seemed to bad to be true! So much for the saying 'to good to be true'. P.S. She used her elbow on my shoulders and neck and at one point went over my spine with her elbow still pushing down that I almost hit the roof.
