I have been to this restaurant twice so far and I can't wait to go again-it is fantastic! The decor is very simple and basic but it's a place that I would go to if they served the food on paper plates with plastic chairs, it's just that good. Not only is Lala the best cook I have ever had the joy of meeting but she makes the entire experience feel like you're in her home-she chats to you, explains the food with wonderful passion, makes jokes and will even join your table for cupcakes if you bring them to the restaurant for your birthday (no charge for bringing cake or anything for special occasions). The first time I was there I had Lala's signature Pasta and I couldn't stop eating it even when I was completely full, if she has the 7 layer lasagne available though don't hesitate and order it. It is just completely unbelievable. On the second visit I had mushroom Risotto and again I ate and ate and ate until I physically could not put another forkful in my mouth-I don't know what she does to make her food so spectacular but I hope she keeps on doing it for a while to come because I plan to visit a lot! Besides all that, in what other restaurant does the chef hug you on the way out?
