Not 4 or 5 star accomodations, but sufficient and good vlaue. The real standouts are the staff, who were amazing with maintaining the rooms, serving the guests and putting on a mean breakfast! Everything was always working and in place. Unexpectedly, there was never a welcome from the owner/managers, something that has almost always happened at guesthouse/bed and breakfast in SA. If you can, let Jacco take you on a tour, it is worth it many times over!

The service was most agreeable, with the staff always friendly and smiling and ready to please. The rooms are tastefully furnished, clean and most practical for self-servicing an evening meal. While in a quiet, sunny garden with mature trees and giving off the scent of jasmine in the evening, this B&B is a 5-minute walk away from shops, cafes and restaurants- There is even a an outdoor swimming pool below the local supermarket !!

The whole experience was so pleasant that I stayed for 6 weeks instead of the 6 days I'd anticipated.

Nice, clean and quiet room in a pretty house, very good breakfast, very kind staff. Good location in a pleasant area. Free parking. The only drawback was the very humid bathroom. We had a very good time staying there.

Located a few minutes walk from Melville’s lively main street, full of nice restaurants and bars, Ginnegaap is surrounded by a quiet nice garden, offers comfortable rooms, great breakfast and very flexible and helpful staff. In our case they managed to accommodate some last-minute needs due to the cancellation of our flight but they can simply help with driving you around the city and providing useful tips.
