The spitbraai ("fire-grilled") lamb was very enjoyable - tasty and a good variety at a good price.
The staff were friendly and quick to assist, without being a nuisance like some restaurants who don't give you a chance to swallow your food before asking how the food is - almost like they are anxious and need reassurance. Not so at Eat Bistro - far enough to not disturb but close enough to assist.
The wine selection - especially for people who prefer a wide selection of wines by the glass - is good and decently priced.
On the whole a good experience - allowing a good quality non-commercialized eating experience without leaving the neighborhood.
