A perfectly aged rump from the blackboard served perfectly rare, with passable shoestring fries and a trio of accomplished sauces. Thankfully, the sauces did not solidify into a gloopy mess as they cooled; an indication that at the very least, it was made on site and not using a generic base.
Pleasant service, unobtrusive and knowledgable. Succinct wine by the glass list, a most pleasant lunch for one.
