“First Class!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2011

MoAfrica is first class! from the moment we were picked up from the airport to the moment we left, we were made to feel incredibly special! Our room was amazing! both large and spaceous, the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. MoAfrica is the full deal, with location, transfer service, tour operation a great breakfast and not forgetting great staff. Thank you Anthony for ensuring we were always safe and happy. If ever we get to Jo'burg agian, we're staying with you!

I normally don't write reviews but I was really impressed with the lodge and staff during my night there. I was traveling alone to Jo'burg on my way from Maputo to Windhoek, so I was a little nervous about my stop off in Jo'burg. Needless to say everything went smoothly, I was picked up and dropped off on time by the nicest driver. The lodge and dorm room is very clean and comfortable. I def wouldn't have minded staying longer.

Love love love your place!! I was nervous because it was so inexpensive compared to other places on Wotif but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff are just the best! What a perfect little snapshot of Africa to wake up to sunrise overlooking ostriches in a field after having slept like a baby in a cosy bed. keep it up folks and I hope to come back as soon as i can afford the airfare ;) xoxo

Honestly this is the perfect place to stay if you're in South Africa for a safari. I spend one night after my return from a safari. Anthony was so friendly and made feel at home. He was there to help me with all what I needed and organized a great tour of Soweto with Mdu despite a short notice of time. The lodge is clean, beautiful with its Safari like presentation, bedrooms are large and so comfortable. The food was great at dinner and breakfeast. The staff was nice and very professional. In brief, this is the perfect location to stay in Joburg especially if you have the Safari spirit.

MoAfrika is excellent for all of the right reasons. Its tranquil location is suprisingly a convenient 15 mins. from the airport. The rooms are very clean and the beds are the most comfortable I have slept on in recent memory. The staff are incredibly friendly and will help to arrange all of your travel and tourism needs for a reasonable price. Simply put, if/when I return to Johannesburg, I will also be returning to MoAfrika.

We were 3 travellers for 1 night before going on a safari and one night before going back home. The owner, Anthony, picked us up at the airport. We had a warm welcome of all the employees of the lodge. The room was perfect, breakfast was very good on the terrace and we had good tips for the rest of our journey. We had a good stay and we recommend this lodge.
