Caledon Gardens is 18k from Clarens and located in the mountains near the border of Lesotho. It's location is gorgeous & tranquil. The hosts, Mike and Sharon, are wonderful - friendly, helpful, personable and fun. The food was brilliant, the small pub cozy and great for chats. Rooms were clean and comfortable and we felt secure enough to leave the door unlocked. I felt like royalty when I sat by the pond under the umbrella and the staff would make sure I always had something to drink. We will definitely stay here again on our return trip to South Africa.
