“What a great hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Made a very last minute reservation without seeing reviews so did not have high expectations. What a great hotel. Staff all dressed in Navajo fashion were VERY friendly and accommodating. Hotel is fresh and clean. The interior design and appointments are very nice and reflect the heritage of the Navajo Nation. Restaurant was a wonderful surprise - many interesting options and selected Navajo Tacos in the spirit of the place - the tacos were quality - the fry bread was the best we had ever experienced. Quite frankly we will craft future travel plans to spend the night in Kayenta as we annually travel to Phoenix. Great job folks - see you again!

We arrived very late and were already checked in by the night manager, made it quick and simple. Great hotel, very nice and the complimentary breakfast is always a big plus. We will definitely stay here again when traveling through this area.

The Southwest geography and Navajo culture are reflected throughout this great hotel. The lobby is warm and welcoming. The room decor is great, the bedding exceptionally nice and a note on our bed let us know that even the duvet covers are changed for each guest. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I passed through Kayenta and stayed here 2 nights to photograph Monument Valley.

This is your typical hampton inn - cookies at check-in, friendly service, decent rooms for the money and fairly comfortable.

There's nothing really unique about the hotel to write home about - but it's certainly got the base level of amenities and care that Hilton puts into their hotels. It's good to have consistency when you travel in that regard.

The restaurant is decent but slow. A bit pricey as well. Its hours are somewhat odd (no lunch)

Due to an unexpected road closure to Page AZ, we decided to change our travel plans & stay at the Hampton Inn, Kayenta. We were pleasantly surprised by this clean & comfortable hotel, which is conveniently located at the beginning of Monument Valley. We enjoyed a lovely dinner onsite. They also have an excellent breakfast, which is included in the cost of the room.
Well done Hampton Inn!

It is better to stay in Kayenta if visiting Monument Valley as there are more dining options and if you have a car. It is also less expensive than the View hotel but is 20 min drive away.

The Hampton Inn seemed more than its 2.5 star rating. Its affiliation with Hilton hotels no doubt sees to that and it is of a very good standard. The buffet breakfast was complimentary and very good.

Room Tip: Ask for a scenic view
