Hotel website photos could as well be a different hotel. The toilet stank and the room was tired. It is also on front and very noisy. Staff were friendly enough. If you are on the Garden Route skip PE and go directly to the next destination, we wish we had.

we stayed for onr night before catching a flight, the hotel is fine, but nothing special.

Stayed only one night. Hotel is of the grand style of a bygone era. Our room was adequate with a sea view which was somewhat spoiled by views of various heavy cables and an air conditioning vent on the flat room outside the window. We had our evening meal in the restaurant and found the choice, prices and service superb. Breakfast was in the main restaurant and did not meet the standards set by our evening meal.

This hotel was later in our itinary and really did not live up to the standards achieved by our other accomodation. I had to request a room change as the sea view that had been paid for was disappointing and the room tiny. The next room was better but not up to a 4 star rating in my opinion . Breakfast was self serve and fine, staff friendly and helpful.
