I stayed overnight in what the owners did not consider their "best room - no garden view", as the rest of the rooms were taken. It was a small room, but with many extras, including full tea tray, fridge, biscuits, sherry, mosquito machine, umbrella, beach towels, TV etc. Very clean and comfortable. Styling is more conservative, i.e. not modern, but the owner, I can see takes a personal interest in every room as she showed me all the items in, case I missed them. I slept well, but in the early morning there was a bit of movement above the room above. I suppose that is why I paid ZAR 395 for the room instead of the usual ZAR 500. I walked to the lagoon, but at high tide you are a bit cut off from the main beach. I suggest a 2 min. drive to the main beaches. Good setting close to amenities. The dining room had two retired couples who were repeat guests from the Netherlands. This tells me that the service is consistent. The breakfast was lovely, with fresh baked muffins, continental style and English style menu available and lovely friendly kitchen staff. This B&B will be around for a long time as they take personal care with their clients. I tried to get a repeat stay on my way back from Cape Town, but they were fully booked again ... need I say more.
The garden facing rooms onto the pool area looked very nice.
