“One of the best walks ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

Very well preserved nature reserve with three route options. The routes were well signposted and maintained. The views were fantastic and we spotted dolphin, watched a seal colony and a great white. A must do!

“A must when in Plett”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014

Breathtaking views of the ocean, seals and indigenous forest.

I suggest you go early as it gets terribly hot after 9am. Take good walking shoes as the paths are quite rocky and there is a bit of uphill climbing. I would recommend the middle circuit (about 2 hours). We did the complete circuit on a previous occasion and it is very demanding (4 hours) and quite dangerous when the the tide is high.

Take lots of water, sun cream and a hat.

The effort is well worth it!

“More difficult than you think”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2014

Outstanding views - wear good walking or hiking shoes; bring LOTS of water because if you hike the whole thing, it gets hot.
The park could use a few more signs, I made a couple of wrong turns and had to go retrace. Hiking through lots of sand which makes it even more challenging.
Make sure you have enough time - 4 hours

“Breathtaking!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2014

Don't miss this place! It offers amazing scenery, secluded beaches and "freak waves" (the plate says so). The middle loop is good for kids too. It took us about 3hrs with a 7 and 5yrs old and long stops at the beaches. Bring sunscreen and water!

One of the most beautiful hikes of my life. Gorgeous rocky coast, blue water, seal colonies, birds, beaches. Clean, unspoiled beauty. Do this hike, you won't believe your eyes!
