“The big white "J" marks the spot.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2012

Next to Sedona, this is my favorite place in Arizona. You absolutely must plan to spend the good part of a day here. So many great things to see, shops to browse and wines to taste. It is on the side of a hill so plane on some serious walking. The views from Jeroma of the Verde Valley with the red rocks in the background is beautiful.

The galleries and shops are second to none. From the funky to the fantastic...something for everyone.

Finish your visit with a luscious hamburger at The Haunted Hamburger. The perfect ending to a perfect day!

“An amazing little town perched on a hillside”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2012

We visited the Douglas Mansion which is now a state historic park. The video was excellent at explaining how Jerome was a boom town of 15,000 in 1929 and became a town of 300 in the late 1990's. This little town is very picturesque - from it' Grand Hotel of Jerome to the artist shops. The town is reviving due to tourism. It is a place you won't forget.

On the hill going up to Jerome is the National Park. Very good exhibits and little movie gives an excellent introduction to Jerome.
