“Great View, but don't bother with the "skywalk"”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

This is just an ok trip and it is a really long ride! The views are amazing though. Don't waste your money just to walk out on the skywalk because you can see everything just as well from the ground. Also, you are not allowed to bring your own camera so once you are on the skywalk you will be inundated with the workers wanting to take your picture and then try to sell them to you. Waste of money!

“Impressive view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

Even if not afraid of heights, you cannot be impervious to the ground being several hundred meters below your feet. The view of the Canyon is magnificent.

The whole deal costed 140$ included bus ride from Sun Tours and lunch. Shop around on the strip. Numerous vendors and competition works.

The Hualapai Indian Tribe who manages the Skywalk does not allow cameras on the Skywalk. They have 'official photographers' and charge a hefty price for the pictures. Only sad note of this day trip.

Trip included a stop at Hoover Dam which is quite impressive. Plan a whole day from 07h00 to 18h00. Pickup at most major Hotels.

“Long trip”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

We decided spontaneously to drive to the skywalk, based on a sign at the highway exit saying"30 minutes to skywalk". Travellers beware - it takes almost 60 minutes to get from the highway to visitors centre. You then take a 2 hour bus tour and it costs a minumum of 70 usdollars per person. I wish they'd given accurate info from the get go - i felt qite ripped off by the time we arrived.

40.00 dollars for two people and if you want to walk on it , it will cost you 37 more dollars Each and you cannot take your camera to take pictures they have their own camera men take pictures that you can buy from them after you do the walk
