“Gran Canyon Skywalk”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

Was looking forward to the Skywalk, but was dissapointed with the setup. It is extremely expensive to enter the Skywalk and you are not even allowed to bring your own camera on the skywalk, but you can buy the Photos they take of you. What a rip off, I asked why I couldn´t bring my own camera and got the answer that someone had dropped their camera on the glass floor and scratched it. I´m sure that is not the reason - they just want your Money. So we decided not to go out on the Skywalk. When that is said, the scenery along the edge and from the different Photo points, is amazing and truly fantastic.Remember to bring Water - Again it is expensive to buy out there.

“Expensive but worth it.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2014

My family went there on a Saturday afternoon. It was a crazy drive up the road but we made it. The Native Americans treated us GREAT, we had a great time. The skywalk was cool and to be able to sit on the edge of the canyon was awesome. We loved it although it was a bit pricey.

“Overrated and over priced”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2014

We visited the Sky Walk today and were disappointed. The Canyon itself is amazing and a must see, however the Sky Walk isn't half as big as you would expect and in a really bad location as you can only see a small part of the Colorado river from it and the over hang isn't very big. You can't take your cameras with you and they try and sell you a photo for which they charge $30. You can get much better pictures of the Canyon yourself nearby. Definitely visit the Canyon as it's spectacular, just don't waste your money on the Sky Walk. The only good thing about it is to say that you have done it!

“shame on native americans”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2014

I was there a week ago. apart from grand canyon which of course is fantastic this whole place is just one big shame on native americans. They have ruined the place making it one big commercial rip off place for stupid and naive tourists. I have never seen such a disrespect to own history and land. The only thing which i missed were dream catchers that you can buy in local store with made in china signs. Skywalk itself is total failure and totally not worth over 20$. Shame on you Hualapai you disrespect yourself, your land and your history

“Waste of Money”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

I was really looking forward to the Skywalk since everyone was hyping it up for us before the tour started. Our bus driver said it was a must, same goes with the guy who oriented us on the tour. The skywalk was really pretty small, it looks much bigger in the pictures. We had to fall in line for quite a while, leave all our things in the locker (yup including our cameras!) before getting on the Skywalk. I guess it would be more thrilling if you have a fear of heights but I don't so I found it pretty boring. Sitting on the edge of the cliff while looking at the view is much more exciting and you can do that for free. BTW, they have hired photographers on the Skywalk and you can choose to purchase them at the store. Our photographer was not skilled though and our photos turned out pretty bad. Our photos had strangers in the background and were taken vertically so you can't see much of the view!! Each photo will cost you a lot of $$$ too.
