When I inquired regarding the price of a room for 2 I was quoted $42.95 - I went outside and told my husband and he said to take it as we had traveled many hours and were tired and hungry. When I went back in the girl changed the price to $49.50 - I thought to myself, she had said $42.95, but went and unloaded the car and went to dinner and then to bed. The next morning I told the man at the desk that I was quoted $42.95, but
charged $49.50. He said the $42.95 was for 1 person - I said, no I told her 2 people and no pets. With a rotten smirk on his face, he said - well, you have signed for it and that's what you will pay. To add insult to injury as we were driving out the driveway, the sign
said $39.95 for 1 person.
The previous reviewer was right that the breakfast was pathetic. I would not have gone
into the pool as it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks.
If you decide to stay in this hotel, be SURE that you are charged the rate that they quote.
I would NEVER stay here again!!!

Hello, I would like to respond to this review... there was a huge miscommunication with this guest. The rate quoted was our IN HOUSE SPECIAL rate for 2 people. At the time when this guest checked in we had a rate of $49.50 plus tax. I do not know or understand where the rate of $42.95 was quoted to this guest. We here at the Ramada Holbrook are very upset that this guest went away unhappy. The person that they talked to in the morning has since been fired. We would like to extend a special offer to this guest. If they will call the Ramada and talk to the AGM, arangments will be made for your return stay with Ramada Holbrook please refer to the date and folio number on your receipt . Again I would like to personally apologize to this guest.
