“Oasis in the Desert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

We arrived later in the evening than expected (from Flagstaff), but Linda and Randy welcomed us in and offered us a relaxing drink. So friendly! We all sat around the table in their beautiful patio and talked like old school chums until very late. Linda pulls you into her wonderful world with her stories of travel and friends. The Navajo Room was very comfortable. The house is a fascinating collection of.......well, you have to experience it yourself. It is a trip for the mind and imagination. The house is a Frank Lloyd Wright design and restored first class. Randy prepared a superb breakfast the next morning and we were off again on the road. It was a quick visit and I left knowing that it will be our only choice in lodging when we return. Thank you Linda and Randy!!

We two couples had a great time enjoying the hospitality of Linda and Randy and the comfort of their art-deco era home's B&B rooms. It is beautifully decorated in authentic native indian artwork, like a gallery, and the food sumptuous and tasty - from hors d'ouevres & wine late afternoon, dessert white chocolate macademia nut cookies after we returned from dinner and a full breakfast in the morning including strawberries, juices, coffees or tea selections, hashbrowns, bacon, scrambled eggs, southern biscuits and white gravy - wow! It was interesting learning the local native lore from them and just plain enjoying Arizona hospitality. Would love to return another time.

This not being the nicest B&B we have ever stayed in, it was still a good value for what we paid.
Our host Linda and Randy were an enjoyable couple and being we were the only ones staying there at the time, they sat and had breakfast with us both mornings. The breakfast were plentiful and very good. Randy did the cooking and did a great job of it. They were very helpful in directing us to local attractions and restaurants.
The inn sat on a hill above the town of Holbrook and the wrap-around deck gave panoramic views of the town and beyond. There is a nice court yard in the rear if you just want to sit around and relax for awhile. It is located within an hours drive of several of Northeast Arizon's attractions.
You are not too far off the highway so there is some noise from traffic, but it really did not effect our stay at all. There are no TV’s in the rooms, but guest are welcome to watch TV in the living room. The inn is decorated with a Native American theme throughout with the living room being a museum of Indian decor. My biggest complaint had to be that there was no place to hang clothes and no drawers to unpack anything. The first morning we woke to a steady rain. Shortly after, out ceiling began leaking right next to the bed. We were quickly moved to another room.
Overall we would recommend this B&B to other travelers.
