“Just ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2012

Just your average cafe. We went for lunch, although it was recommended for breakfast. Food tasted like it came from a can or box. No salads. Maybe breakfasts are much better, but we were not impressed for lunch.

“Stopped to Eat in the Cafe for Breakfast and were sick for two days!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2009

We were recently staying in the Springerville, Arizona area and took a day trip to tour Greer, Arizona. We stopped to eat breakfast at the Greer Mountain Resort Cafe. When we walked in it had a kitschy, back in the 1970s look. There was one other couple dining and they told us to seat ourselves. We sat down and the waitress was over at the bar talking to a very old man absorbed with something on the computer and completely ignored us. The only way she knew we were there was that she came over to the other diners. It was obvious she wanted to get back to the old man and the computer. The breakfast menu was very limited with only fried eggs various ways and pancakes! I asked for poached and the cook (we think it was the old man) yelled out: "only what's on the menu". The menu stated "homemade salsa". I asked for salsa. We both ate fried eggs over easy, hash browns (stiff as a board), stale toast. Right after my friend began burping up the eggs. We were both sick for two days afterward with stomach pains, headache, nausea, etc. Waitress was weird and uninterested, phony almost. Stay away!
