we were here visiting family over Christmas and due to illness and other issues, it was the worst Christmas of our lives. Things went so wrong that we cut our visit short by 3 nites and flew home on Christmas Day. The only thing that did go right was our stay at this hotel!
The first room we checked into had a broken lock, which we discovered on the second day of our stay, and so we were upgraded at no extra charge to the Presidential Suite; a young woman by the name of Janine Dancy helped my husband pack and move to the other room, which was certainly above and beyond expectations... in addition to deducting a night's charge from our bill for the inconvenience.
Additionally, when we cut our visit short by 3 nights, we fully expected to be charged for the entire 8 night stay that we had booked, but were more than pleasantly surprised to find that we were only charged for 4 nights.
Suffice it to say that for a chain hotel to provide the kinds of services we experienced during our stay was surprising and refreshing. I hope that this personal touch wasn't just unique to the Goodyear facility but rather is indicative of Comfort Suites in all locations! If so, we commend you for your personal touch and going beyond customer expectations. We will certainly seek out Comfort Suites for any future accommodations in our travels.
