Hotel is less than 1 year old. Style is modern/organic southwestern. Beantiful, open, well designed public spaces and interiors. No wear-n-tear, super clean- everything works.
My room was on the top floor and was truly wonderful. Paid $99.00 per night, was worth much more.
Room service/restaurant food is reasonably priced, well prepared and delivered fast.
Not impressed by hotel staff. Bellman are lazy. No initiative to call a taxi, help with bags, operate the golf cart, open a door, etc.
Maid service is slow; my room did't get serviced until after 4:00 each day.
Stupid idea to have no concierge. The "happy to serve" phone staff are week at best. No one I spoke to was familiar enouph with Phoenix to give personal recommendations on entertainment, clubs or bars outside the West Gate complex across the street.
