“Closest Hotel to the Stadium”

Renaissance Glendale Hotel & Spa

Jul 25, 2008

We booked this hotel as it is the most convenient to Cardinals Stadium where we had purchased tickets to a concert. The rooms are large and extremely comfortable. The hotel is lalso ocated right next to the Westgate City Center and its many restaurants. It is definitely worth paying a little extra to stay here.

This time my wife and I stayed at the hotel, after putting up our relatives in the past. What an unbelievable stay and especially at the rate we got ($99). We packaged the rate with a spa trip and the spa was one of the most beautiful spas we have been in. Service was top notch during our entire stay. We will be back again to enjoy their summer specials (golf and spa package next time). For this rate it is a can't miss.

Stayed at this hotel purely because we went to a Coyotes Hockey match and it was the only hotel in walking distance of the Arena. Nice rooms, nice hotel-had a gym, indoor and outdoor pool. The problem with this hotel is the exorbitant price we paid $349 plus tax for one night and they didn't even throw breakfast in! Also kept up by the horrendous sound of the water pipes everytime someone near by had a shower you could hear it as though they were taking a shower in the room. By the time we left we felt totally ripped off.

“Excellent hotel”

Renaissance Glendale Hotel & Spa

The Renaissance in Glendale was a great find.
It is only a few months old (finished 11/07) and a great facility.
Service, as you would expect at a new hotel, was great.
Very comfortable room, very spacious and well designed.
Excellent pool and workout facility.
Attached conference center looks good - did not attend anything but walked around.
Business center has 2 PCs with limits on time but have free internet access (hopefully that won't change).
Courtyard in the center is a very nice place to relax - has fire pitts and heaters in the evening.
Location is good for those going to sporting events. like hockey and football or spring training baseball.
Highway 101 is easily accessible and should get you anywhere fast.
Did not use the restaurant - menu a bit pricey but looks good.
