Interesting place. Pretty good overall, but could use some upgrades. The furnishing were good, the bed was excellent. The bathroom was just ok. Toiletries could definitely have been better (shampoos, conditionr, and lotion were large pump bottles). Water pressure was not so good.
Loved the jazz club on the weekend evenings (expect to hear the music until 11:00) which had a very diverse crowd and wonderful musicians. Was very nice to be able to get latte's in the morning in the coffee shop. Breakfast was kind of sporadic. The first morning, we got a small cup of fruit and a choice of 1 pastry. The second morning, there was a spread of cereal, fruit, pastries, yogurt, and hard-boiled eggs.
Also disappointing was the fact that the bed was not made up until sometime in the evening when we were at dinner and nothing was done in the bathroom.
Owners are very nice people.
