My husband, our 17-month-old son and I stayed at the The Bedlam B&B last weekend in the Tumbleweed Room. We were completely impressed and delighted with our experience. Our room looks directly at the Four Peaks in the distance, with a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi just outside the windows. A beautiful sunrise over the mountains greeted us both mornings. Proprietors Tom and Pam Carlson served us two delicious breakfasts with very enjoyable company and conversation each time. They are kind, generous, welcoming, humble and modest folks, but the unique splendor and fascinating craftmanship of their home in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains merits trumpeting and boasting from the hilltops: "This is the best B&B value you will find anywhere!" To offer a more direct comparison, I have experienced high-end hotels such as The Four Seasons Beverly Hills, The Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach, Barlcays Intercontinental New York, The Pines Lodge Beaver Creek, The Fairmont Princess Scottsdale, and The Renaissance Wailea. From my perspective, Bedlam Bed & Breakfast is fully recommended for value, location, comfort, food and service. My advice: Do not hestitate to make a reservation here.
