Wow! What an opulent time must have created the Gadsden Hotel back in the 1920s. The marble columns and marble staricase with the gold filigree tops to the columns are so amazing. One can stand in the lobby and see a unique and beautiful stained glass wall at the top of the marble staircase depicting the unique Chiricaua Mountain range of SE Arizona and an example of the wildcats of the area shot by the hotel host herself. Rooms are 1920's style with crisp clean linens and comfortable beds. Our hostess, Robyn Breyhus, told us delightful stories of the ghosts of Pancho Villa and other guests of the hotel in days past. You can feel their presence in the hallways and rooms still today. Great visit!
