Many thanks to Candy and the staff at the Cottonwood Inn for making our stay so great. We had a perfect room, the Blazing Ranch Show and dinner were just great, the Train was a lovely relaxing time and the Out of Africa Zoo was very very special.
The breakfasts were more than adequate and we enjoyed the Irish Pub reccomended by one of the front desk staff.

“Very Satisfied”

We arrived tired, early evening and asked for a room with a mountain view which we instantly got (first floor). The staff were very polite, helpful - the young guy showed me the room straight away.
It's a relaxing and peaceful location. Great views of those unique Arizona mountains. It was great to watch the changing colours as afternoon turned to evening.

We had tried Sedona but were put off by the prices (around $200 to $250 for a basic motel as it was Spring Break / Easter - maybe it's always more expensive, don't know) and also put off by the obviously manufactured 'cowboy-town' plastic-ness of Sedona.

20 mins drive away, in Cottonwood, the price dropped to $99.

The room was great - v spacious, decent quality fixtures and fittings, well equipped bathroom, etc- what you'd expect from a good quality BWestern.

The grounds of the motel were clean, well manicured, with a small-ish pool, fine for kids, and a whirlpool for adults.

The breakfast was fab - we'd been used to cheap and nasty donuts at other motels. This BWestern had a full self service - hot drinks, eggs, cereals, toast, waffles, etc. Lovely!

Everything seemed easy and very relaxing at this place - ideal if you're tired and want no fuss.

Don't miss Historic Cottonwood. Very nice. We found a great family run Mexican restaurant at the far end of Historic Cottonwood, left hand side of the road. (much better for dinner than the dodgy Mexican restaurant next door to the B.WEstern). Historic Cottonwood has various dinner options, plus bars.

My wife and I and our 2 children stayed here on March 10th for 1 nt. because The Jerome Grand was sold out (we stayed there on the 11th).
This Best Western has no ventilation in the bathroom and after showering, it's just like a sauna. I felt like I was in FL! The pool and spa are very basic, but in working order. Breakfast was from 6:30 to 10 a.m. and at 8:40 everything was gone! We ended up going to Mcdonald's for breakfast, which is just down the street. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We made the mistake of leaving for dinner because upon our return, there were no parking spaces left! I had to sit and wait for someone to leave from the adjacent restaurant. In summation, I would give this hotel 2 diamonds at most.
Would I stay here again? Probably not.

As the only AAA-rated 3-Diamond Hotel in Cottonwood, we are very proud to meet the standards & qualifications required to receive this distinquished rating. One standard stipulation is to have exhaust fans in all restrooms. If a malfunction occurred, once reported the 24-hour front desk, the agent will ensure prompt action is taken to correct the problem. The Best Start breakfast consists of homemade belguim waffles, boiled eggs, fruits, cereals, plus a breakfast attendant for stocking supplies. Best Western Cottonwood Inn offers our guests reasonable rates, have a very good value for the price, & we're close to many attractions.

We were in this part of Arizona to ride the Verde Canyon RR (excellent) and do some other things in the area. Picked the Best Western to stay at. Rooms were clean, spacious and the curtains kept the bright sun out. Plenty of ice in the ice machines to fill the cheap styrofoam cooler from Wal-Mart for cold water all day. Breakfast was excellent. For continental style, they had hard boiled eggs, cereal, coffee and also made to order waffles which were some of the best we've ever tasted. You poured the batter in yourself and in 2.7 minutes they're done. Awesome! We also went to the Balzin' M Ranch dinner/show. For under $25, it was a great value. Dinner is OK, basic BBQ grub, but eat all you want. The show was excellent. Together it was a fantastic bargain.

Thank you so much! Best Western Cottonwood Inn tries to keep our cost to our guests @ an economical value.

Rest in the West with us then visit other surrounding towns within minutes of your hotel room. Taking excursions such as the Verde Canyon Railroad train or Blazin' M Ranch Dinner/Show.

And don't forget to include Out of Africa Wildlife Park for an unforgetable Serengeti ride through the wild. (Keep 1 biscuit for the 2nd stop).

Hope to see you back again soon.
