Description: The Wild Rose of Historic Old Town is a Tea House that currently serves over 100 varieties of loose leaf teas, many of which are made in the great state of Arizona. Our teas are made to order, ensuring that you have the best cup of iced or hot tea possible. On rare occasions, we do serve sun tea. All teas are available in bulk. The varieties of teas available are pu-erh, black, oolong, green, white, decaf black, herbal tisanes, and rooibos. We offer fresh squeezed lemonade, French Press coffee in both Kona and decaf, and Italian cream sodas in number of choices. Cupcakes are available daily, as well, and flavors do vary. We offer seating inside, in our sitting room or we offer two very different patios, one out front where you can sit in the sun and watch the people go by or the other in our garden, surrounded by the trees and flowers that bloom there.

“Awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

Great selection of herbal and exotic teas they also have organic coffee, all of which are made with a French press. The real charm of this tea shop is the customer service, atmosphere, indoors and out on the back patio. Christina is the owner and Tracy is the manager, they are two of the most positive and nicest people we met on this trip. Christina bakes the most delicious chocolate chip cookies and cupcakes I have ever tasted. I am not a huge fan of gluten free, but Christina’s gluten free chocolate chip cookies are the absolute best I have ever had gluten free or not. After several cups of tea, coffee, yummy baked goods and great company over the last week I have to say they receive a gold 5 star rating from me.

“A wonderful selection of tea, the most delicious cupcakes anywhere and a fabulous tea house pug!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

My daughters and I overwhelmingly enjoy this little tea house in lovely, historic Cottonwood. My husband (who is usually wary of tea houses), also loves it here.

The owner, Christina, is welcoming and kind. The manager and the tea house "regulars" could not be more pleasant. This is the type of place we go to make an ordinary day special, or to make a frustrating day seem brighter.

There is a huge selection of delicious teas, and all are available to be served hot or iced. My daughters love the details like the fancy napkins, lovely little sayings around the shop and the beautifully decorated walls. There is an offering of cupcakes that are the most delicious we have ever tasted.

We have sampled cupcakes in places that claim to have won Food Network or other competitions, and those cupcakes pale by comparison. The cupcakes at the Wild Rose of Historic Old Town Cottonwood are pretty, light and ridiculously scrumptious.

I don't think there is food available other than the cupcakes, but what is available here is more than enough. Everything about the tea house is lovingly attended to, by a caring and competent owner and staff.

There is a beautiful outdoor garden, and a fabulous pug, Ellie, whose contagious enthusiasm for practically everything makes the whole experience even more special. We were here three times in little more than a week, and we cannot wait to visit again.
