I absolutely loved this place! It is a relaxed fun atmosphere that makes wine tasting enjoyable because they believe that great wine should be a discussion, not a monologue from producer to consumer. I went with a friend of mine on a girl’s trip to do some wine tasting and we were so impressed with the service and quality wines we found here! Katie was fantastic. She educated us about the wines and had some great suggestions on what they go well with. You can tell that the people here are very passionate about the wines they serve and with good reason! Every wine I tasted I liked, a lot. Their white wine “The Peddler” was amazing and my other favorite was “The Impressionist” a truly unique and delicious red. The bottles are all very fairly priced, not to mention beautiful. Each wine has a unique label with many designed by local artists. I wasn’t expecting to buy more than one bottle honestly but I walked out with three and so did my friend. If you buy a certain number of bottles they take the cost of your tasting off one of the bottles and if you purchase six bottles of wine you receive a 10% discount. I only have one small suggestion for Burning Tree Cellars and that is to change how their software program asks you to enter tips. I found it slightly uncomfortable to enter in an exact dollar amount for tip on an iPad with an employee standing right there waiting. If you are not going to have customers sign a printed receipt with a tip line then I think it would be better to either have a 10%, 15%, 20% or “enter your own” button display page rather than asking your tipsy customers to do mental math. Just a suggestion! Overall I had a fantastic time here and would recommend it highly to anyone looking for good wine and a fun time.
