“Quaint old style dining”

Not fancy, but the service is good and my husband loves the "Spam Bites" and the fried pickles. Interesting decor and the one-man band is adorable.

“Great little Gem in the Desert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

We had delicious chili with cheddar and raw onions over a baked potato and it was very good and held me for the rest of the day. It's the only restaurant in that part of the dessert but they still served great food. Their specialty is the 2 pound burger (enough to feed the family) but they had a turkey, swiss and tomato on sour dough that was a knockout. If you're heading to Chloride, do stop in and try their wonderful food. I had a piece of chocolate layer cake.

“never had a bad meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

always a good time at the Yesterday's cafe in Chloride, AZ. Double Diamond is usually playing and they are a great band. The food is always good. We have had the chili size, frito pie, shepard's pie, Cheeseburgers, spam bites, prime rib. All of it has been great. wasn't colored by alcohol cause our group doesn't drink. We drive 20 miles to get there. word of advice. Lobster Pasta? in the desert? Seafood pasta can contain any available pasta and it's the middle of the freakin desert. If you want seafood like they serve at the wharf then eat at the Wharf. If you want the best pasta in the desert eat at Yesterday's.

“Chloride Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2012

Chloride is an old mining town. Very small in area, great history. The Yesterdays restaurant has great service, fantastic food and the personnel are very friendly and willing to answer questions. Just take a sweater in the winter, old building - hard to keep warm.

“Worth the side trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2012

Step back in time and get a FANTASTIC meal with the trip!! Just about an hour east of Grand Canyon West Rim (you know the one with the glass shelf), less than 3 hours west of Flagstaff or less than 2 hours east of Las Vegas. A huge variety on the menu, great asthetics inside, wonderful service (great job, Jo!) and best of all...the food was WONDERFUL!! I've only taken time to give one other restaurant a review but this hidden gem is worth the effort! Bonnie the owner is a sweet heart too! We peaked into one of the rooms and saw a mural on the wall. The whole little town is a unique treat. The website I listed is for the town. There is not much (or should I say "anything!" between Kingman, AZ & LasVegas. So if you are taking the Southern Utah loop and including the Grand Canyon on your way back to Las Vegas....please be sure and include Yesterday's into your plan!
