This place is a one of a kind and is more enjoyable ever since they moved from downtown Chandler to near Tumbleweed Park. Unfortunately it is not connected to the park, otherwise it would be the premier place to go.
The volunteers do an excellent job in the upkeep of this old relics and they are always working on either maintaining what they got or restoring something there. It is always fun to check out the history of the old pieces they have.
Two words of caution is go in the am, since it can get pretty sunny with no shade, and WATCH YOUR KIDS, these are real train cars and pieces and I can see the potential for someone getting injured because their parents were not being responsible and watching out for them.
