We received an email that Makutu's had reopened after their remodel so we thought we'd check it out. The staff at the front counter were very nice. Kids are now $10 each which is a big increase. Adults, 1 per paid kid are now free which is nice. Once inside the place looks pretty much the same. I brought my laptop to work while the kids played. I set up on the bench looking straight to the banana slide. I got to watch and listen to a lot of the employee comments. The staff by the slides seemed bothered by the kids. One female employee made fun of the size of some of the kids coming down the slides. Some kids were climbing on the no climb zones, the employees noticed and I only saw one employee nicely ask the kids to get down. The water fountains are broken and the bathrooms are a mess, very dirty. We stayed about 3.5 hours. The kids had a good time on the slides. Possibly as we came in the middle of the day, the place was not busy at all.
So overall the place is pretty much the same with the addition of a new bungee feature. The place is still very dirty and the staff is less than friendly.
There was one employee named Nick who did seem to be very friendly with all the kids, he should be an example to other employees that seemed to not care much for their jobs.
