The resort has beautiful grounds, great rooms and a great pool. Rooms are large and clean. Ask for one that overlooks the pool or golf course (great desert view and sunset). It is geared a bit toward families with activities for kids and large pool area. The spa looked nice but did not use services (was expensive though). Restaurants on property were limited and very expensive but great options and stores a short car ride away. I went for a conference and it was a good getaway place for a few days---more than a few days (2-4) and you could get a little bored. Phoenix is a very accessable town and Scottsdale is also a must do, but again, more than a few days and you could start getting bored.
