“Customer Service at its Best!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

Our visit here has been the best customer service experience ever!! I have to do a shout to Candy at the front desk, Austin by the pool, Nathan in housekeeping, Sheryl in management, Corina in the gift shop, Darcell in the gift shop, Whitney in the lifestyles shop and Pam from accounting! They have been so nice and so fun during this Super Bowl week! Beautiful property and beautiful people!!

Room Tip: Get sunset view. :)

Green Features: Thanks for helping the environment. It is great to have a hotel that cares. I like that the hotel offers choices to make a difference in how you choose to help the environment.

The facilities and rooms of this hotel are all very nice. The cleaning staff is very good. However, the rest of the staff were really subpar. I made a reservation with the concierge for a 50th birthday dinner for my friend during a recent stay during a conference. Despite the entire hotel being full, the main restaurant was CLOSED. We took a reservation at the lesser restaurant and they said they would provide a birthday treat. When I went to check in for our reservation the restaurant had no reservation for us. They said they would accommodate us within the next hour and still would provide a birthday treat. While we waited we ran in to another couple who also had a reservation with concierge that was not on the books with the restaurant. An hour later we were seated but a birthday treat or apology for the wait/mixup was never provided by the staff. This is just one example of the staff's inability to work with its guests, I have others.

Room Tip: Rooms were very nice and quiet to sleep. Ask for a robe if you don't have one provided to you...

Green Features: The eco practices are great - no one needs new sheets or towels everyday; but, the staff should check the coffee and waters in the room daily as it is in the middle of the desert and people need to drink a lot.

We took the Wild Horse exit and turned in at what we thought was the place for our meetings, only to discover that we were at the wrong property on Wild Horse Drive. Thankfully the Sheraton Spa and Resort was our destination rather than the Casino et al. This is one where I'd be happy to linger with time for contemplation, relaxing or business. The facility is designed to focus your attention outwards towards the desert (or the golf course) with the majority of the rooms below lobby level. Requesting a westerly view would be a good idea. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed, often with unique art or artifacts from area artists. Decor in the other parts of the hotel and conference center also draw nicely on the local artistic and design tradition.
I loved the sunsets, the nature trail and the use of water features to enhance the natural setting. The resultant bird population and other fauna were a delight.
I'll also say that the food service for our meeting was top notch. First place I've been where both soy and almond milks were standard on the service trays. Bravo.
The restaurant options are excellent, and neither was crowded when I took a late supper. Unique and exquisite offerings, almost without exception (the latter being the mac and cheese at Ko sin- sounded great but would not get a second look next time.)
The Sheraton is far enough off the beaten path that you feel peace and a sense of seclusion, but close enough to the freeway and other options that you aren't locked in if you don't want to be. Try it!

Loved this place from the moment we entered the reception with the wonderful views towards the surrounding mountains. Simply breathtaking! A big group had just arrived before us but the very efficient staff manged to deal with them in no time and soon we had our keys. Very impressing and friendly service. And this goes for everyone we met at the resort during our 2 nights stay, everyone was SO nice and truly helpful. We got a really nice and spacious room with a wonderful king size bed with lovely soft linen and the bathroom was simply huge! Really enjoyed the complimentary toiletries also. This IS a big resort but the native theme and the location in the desert with the amazing mountains nearby, gave us not only a wonderful visit but also something of a spiritual experience. Sitting by the outdoor fires, listening to a flute and watching the sun set behind the mountains, that gave us some very precious memories. Wish we had had more than two days at this very well maintained and well run resort as there are quite a few things to do, but this time we only tried the golfcourse and had a couple of delicious breakfasts there. We did take the dinners at the resort and was very, very satisfied both evenings. Especially the Kai was REALLY something special and worth every cent. The food was absolutely delicious but it was more the presentation of the different dishes and the level of service that impressed us. And can also highly recommend their different and very tasty cocktails. ;-) So thanks and compliments to the staff and management for making this resort so wonderful and pleasant. Our next trip to Arizona will for sure include another visit to Wild Horse Pass resort.

If you like the sun and want to get away from it all, this resort in Chandler, Arizona is a wonderful place. Great location, staff very friendly and beautiful rooms, excellent food and of course you can't beat the weather. The spa is also a wonderful experience....

I have had the pleasure of being there for both personal and work. In fact we are having our User Conference again this year in March and I am very much looking forward to it.

I would highly recommend it as one of your getaways!!

I can't add much to the other reviews regarding the property's overall look and feel. We live in Florida, so we were excited to spend some time in a desert setting. The hotel did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly, the architecture of all of the buildings that comprise the resort is very nice, the grounds are exceptionally kept, the golf course looks fantastic, the surrounding scenery is very cool and the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular! The rooms are generally spacious and nicely appointed, and the furniture is comfortable, shower is nice etc. Our room was facing the parking lot, but had a nice balcony. Also, the way the resort is situated, you still get a feeling of being somewhat remote. We walked the trail, which is nicely maintained, we used the pool and slide, hot tubs and ate once at the lobby bar. Everything was enjoyable.

While the grounds are quite nice, I would agree with other reviewers that there is not a lot to do for a younger person who is too old for the kid's club and gets tired of swimming.

The accommodations are spot on, besides what I'm finding are just becoming routine dings at nearly every newer hotel we stay at :
* No bathroom fan - why ?!?!? - nobody else in the room wants to hear what you're doing in there!
Which leads to the next one :
* Lack of much noise, white or otherwise. I have an app on my phone that handles this now that most hotels pretty much don't.
* Less control of the temperature in the room - again why ? Easily solved here though in the winter time by leaving the sliding glass door open.

Overall, tough to go wrong, and highly recommended if desert/mountainous scenery is a novelty to you.

Room Tip: If you are in an end room, it's quite a hike to an elevator. We were fine using the stairs to a...

This property is an amazing desert getaway. Even though I was there for a week on a business conference I'd give it high praise. To me that praise is leaving there wanting to come back for a leisure trip to actually have the chance to enjoy all of the great surroundings and amenities. The rooms are very comfortable and I'd request the 3rd floor facing the river/golf course. Wonderful view. It's only about 500 rooms so it feels comfortable and personal. Great staff especially the front desk. The vibe is so relaxing and peaceful. They have a 2.5 interpretative walking trail from the hotel that you shouldn't miss.

Room Tip: River/golf course facing on 3rd floor
