Overpowering fake orange scent in rooms. However, when I requested that the room be cleaned of the scent, the helpful front desk person arranged to have an ozone machine in the room to clear it out. We also located the offending "deodorizer" located up near the ceiling and removed it. Left it outside the door, which we hoped would be a large hint. Ick! Some people do not like smelly stuff!
The Sleep # bed is awful. If you sit on the bed to put your shoes on, or anything else, you will have what feels like the narrow edge of a 2x4 to sit on. Very uncomfortable. When getting into or out of the bed, you must crawl over this same piece of wood (or whatever it is). This is not a good advertisement for the product (Sleep #), and nobody else in my group of colleagues liked it either.
There is a nice area in the lobby with a fireplace, couches and chairs for sitting around chatting. Bar is in the same area. Free coffee in lobby. Free newspapers. Not much else. There is a Marie Calender's across the parking lot. Also some burger joint. The hotel has a restaurant that didn't appear to be very popular.
