“Nice Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2012

This is a new, clean, modern decor, basic accommodations hotel. The check-in staff was very friendly and professional. We arrived at the hotel in the morning, and since 1 of our 2 rooms was available, the hotel allowed us to check-in early so we could leave our belongings in the room while we went out for the day. The hotel is connected to a Courtyard, so we had access to their restaurant. A large shopping mall and many restaurants are closeby, and the hotel offers a free shuttle service if needed. The complimentary breakfast is similar to other Marriott hotels. If we need basic accommodations, we would definitely return here.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2012

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. We got in late and asked for a quiet room on an upper floor since they were full and there were several young baseball teams staying there. We were given the top floor and a room right next to the elevator. We weren't happy at first but it turned out that it was a very quiet room because there was a "hallway" to the sleeping area. The breakfast area was very busy in the mornings but they kept up pretty well except for running out of orange juice one day. My only complaint was that for me the pillows were very uncomfortable. One pillow was too flat and two pillows was too high. (feather pillows) I mentioned it at checkout and she said that I could have requested foam pillows. Good to know! For the price, location and cleanliness, I would stay here again.

We stayed one night at this hotel to attend a family function in the area. The location is convenient - right off the highway - and near a major mall. The Fairfield Inn is physically adjoined to a Courtyard Hotel with a connecting hallway between them, which we've not seen before.
The hotel was fresh and nicely decorated. We were upgraded to a King-size suite upon our arrival. The room was large with a separate area containing a desk, couch and 2nd TV. The bathroom was bright and big. Everything was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel was packed with a lot of families and school kids attending soccer conferences and Spring training for professional baseball. Our room was on a high floor overlooking the pool. Once everybody came back from their various activities, they went down to the pool and it got very noisy late into the night - not great for sleeping. Our room also overlooked the boundary for an Indian reservation. It was like two different worlds - on the left, typical suburban office parks and developments, and on the right, complete and total desolation. We didn't pick this place for views, but the line of demarcation was just startling.
Breakfast was included in the rate and featured self-serve juices, coffee, cereals, bread, bagels and the like. The breakfast area was crowded, but it was fine for what you were getting. There were no other restaurants within walking distance.
Overall, the hotel was a good value for a short stay.

Room Tip: Stay away from the side facing the pool.

We stayed at this hotel for one night before going to the airport. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was fine. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with places to eat. The hallway walls and rugs need attention. Overall it was fine for a one night stay. Very convenient on/off the highway.

My family and I stayed here as we were visiting relatives in Chandler. Checked in and we were upgraded to a king suite. Friendly front desk staff, clean room, good HVAC. We ate the complimentary breakfast we had the egg sandwiches, cereal and the fresh made waffles. All were very good. We also used the fitness center and it did not have much in the way of free weights but the cardio equipment overlooked a fantastic view of the mountains. We did not use the pool and Jacuzzi but they looked inviting.

I would recomend the hotel becuase it is clean, comfortable, spacious has a free breakfast and is very easy to get to from the airport. It is a great value.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the mountains
