“Blast from the Past”

We saw the legendary Temptations at the Casino yesterday. They were simply amazing! They had the audience up on their feet, singing and dancing. What great showmen. Only one original member remains but the others were excellent showmen and the singing was wonderful. They sang so many great hits and familiar songs. I didn't see anyone in that audience that wasn't smiling. This is the second event we've attended here (Craig Ferguson was our first performer to see). The venue is a little cramped and warm but fine for a short performance. The casino has everything you would need for an enjoyable experience.

We dropped by for an afternoon of gambling while staying in the area. The casino is large, with lots of slot machines, however it was very busy and not easy to get a machine. As well, it was extremely smoky which we really noticed as no smoking is allowed in casinos at home. I would find a good machine, a smoker would sit down beside me, and I would have to move. There was a small non-smoking area, but it is right in the middle of the smoking area, and it was always full - maybe it needs to be bigger? My husband loved the poker room - said it was the biggest he has ever played in, even in Vegas. Staff was helpful when we had trouble with our new players club cards.

Stayed at this hotel for a conference - spent almost a week there.

From check-in to check-out - superb and excellent service from staff: Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeepers and Restaurant Servers. No matter what time of the day...they always greeted you.

Guest rooms were in excellent shape...modern rooms and comfortable beds. No mini fridges in the rooms - sucks when you are there for a week and want to chill your water. Other than that...great rooms.

Meeting facilities are amazing...great size rooms and good food.

A few down sides of my stay, Internet. It is very annoying to keep logging into wifi every 15 minutes. Imagine...all day meetings and constantly having to log into their wifi? Hotel is in a place of nowhere - there is lots to do at the hotel but plan to have a car if you want to get out. Hotel has their own 10 miles radius shuttle - which can be useful.

Their fitness room by far is the best gym I have used ever in a hotel. Great size and amazing machines. Also, pool is beautiful - big size and a nice one to relax in.

Overall - great stay. Would be back again...

Beautiful hotel and casino. Hotel very clean. Non smoking hotel, but hallways has faint cigarette smell from being in smoking casino. Excellent service from staff. Gave sleep quality average because housekeeping starts early and you can hear them in hallways knocking on doors. Other than that, an excellent choice. Have stayed many times.

Room Tip: Higher floors seem to be more quiet and have nice view.

I really liked this casino! My only criticism would be that they don't keep the players' area neat and tidy. There were a lot of empty glasses sitting around and full ashtrays that never got dumped. They do come around with bottled water which is really nice!
I played the game king keno both nights I went there and did okay but I'm a nickel and a dimer. I don't put in hundreds of dollars because that's not what I like to do.
I played all night for about four hours both nights and came out 30 ahead and the next night 20 ahead, but I don't bet a lot. I go for the pure entertainment of it and I'm baffled when I see people putting in hundreds of dollars. How do you do that? I'm happy playing my quarter keno and betting four numbers and on occasion playing six numbers for the heck of it to win 400 bucks or so. We don't stay there cuz our furbaby isn't welcome there. We stay at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass hotel which gladly welcomes our furbaby! Thanks, Sheraton!
