I golfed Rancho two days ago and I had a wonderful experience. The group I was with needed to rent clubs and the help got them hooked up with no problems and no fuss. The starter was not at the 1st tee so we started ourselves. We got through 18 in 3 and a half hours. The scenery on the course is breathtaking. The front 9 especally. There are several holes where you have major elevation changes which makes for some awesome shots. The course was in excellent condition. The greens were a bit hard but average speed. If you like to play it cheap (I always look for cheaper rates) I would play the twilight rate of $45. We still had plenty of light to finish and we started at 3PM. When making the tee time call ahead and ask for a twilight rate because they do not have them on the discount golf sites/ agencys. I wouldn't try to book through their website either because they wont give you that rate either. Call and ask for it. Beautiful course, not super tough but it will make you think. I would play this course again (with a twilight rate ;).
