Good location behind the iHop, Golden Corral, and Super 8, well away from the road. Close to the freeway junction but far enough to not get any freeway noise. Backs onto a seasonal RV park that is deserted in summer. No nearby train noise. All in all, a nice quiet location.
Rooms are very clean and modern with flat screen TVs, coffeemaker, microwave, and unusually quiet fridge. Executive King room on top floor had a single easy chair plus footstool (rather than a sofa), and a work desk and chair. Comfortable beds with pillow tops, and four pillows (two firm, two soft).
Helpful staff a check-in. There's a small room next to check-in with a few items like frozen mini-pizzas and burritos, ice cream etc. About double supermarket prices, but convenient.
Wifi is protected with a userid/password given at check-in. It was late by the time I tried this, it didn't work on my Android tablet (got password errors, multiple times) but it did on my phone so there may have been user error or some slight incompatibility. Wifi signal was a bit weak in my room which probably didn't help.
Breakfast was acceptable but a notch below average for this type of hotel. On a Sunday the hot choices were scrambled eggs and sausage patties (or biscuits and gravy). Pancake maker was out of order - maybe they should keep a spare. No white bread for toasting, just some brown bread and bagels. Yogurts were only strawberry or strawberry and banana, it would be nice to have less-sweet options. Four cold cereal choices, plus plain powdered oatmeal packets over by the coffee. Small range of danishes and muffins. Fresh fruit was just bananas.
One room had an alarm clock that went off at midnight. It should be standard practice for housekeeping to check alarm clocks are set to "off" when a room becomes vacant, rather than just plugging an alarm clock back in, setting the time, but leaving the alarm set to the default time and on.
In summary though it was a comfortable night with good sleep (except for the room with the already-set alarm clock!), and an adequate (but not great) breakfast. It's the sort of place I would certainly consider returning to.
