We recently tried this highly rated restaurant in Carefree. I was very drawn to the patio seating, which is placed around a large tree with twinkly lights. The menu is extensive and very creative, making it hard to select an entree. I ordered sangria (fantastic) and hubby had a margarita (good). I was delighted to find that they offer gluten free pastas and ordered one with lobster. Unfortunately when it arrived it was not gluten free--which was quickly corrected by the manager. We also shared the chocolate cake with caramel ice-cream (fabulous!).
My primary complaint is our waitress. Most of the serving staff appear to be older bikers. Odd for a restaurant of this "caliber" but OK. However, our waitress was uncouth. Her manner of speaking was too casual and inappropriate for service. When she realized her mistake with my meal, she exclaimed "Oh, my gosh, I am going to get in SO much trouble!)... All I could think was REALLY?
I would return to this restaurant to try another dessert but probably not for a full meal. It was expensive.
