We built a house in Bullhead and it was not done yet so my husband said we needed to find a cheap place for a night maybe two. After calling the casinos and everywhere we settled on this place. When we drove up I told my husband no way. It is off the main highway and the parking lot needs work. He said yes it is only for a night, two at most. We went in and told the lady at the counter we had reserved two rooms and they needed to be side by side as my 3 teens were in one and we were in one. She checked us in and told us about the events for that week. I was surprised by how friendly and professional she was. I saw a little one behind the counter about 2 years old -I think her son since he has her eyes. She checked us in and said if there was anything we needed or any problems with the rooms to please call her. I was amazed at how clean the rooms and lobby were. It is an old building that needs work but we had two rooms side by side on the top floor right by the door to the outside. They were clean and smelled fresh and the views were amazing. The next morning we got bad news the house will not be done for another week. My husband asked if I wanted to find another hotel I said no the rooms are clean and I was wrong to judge by the parking lot and area. So we asked about staying a week. The same lady and little boy were at the desk again and she quickly converted us to the weekly rate and asked if we needed a small fridge (for only $10 more per week) I said yes please and they brought one up. We ended up staying two weeks and a couple of days while we waited for the house to get done. TRUTHFULLY I am so glad we ended up at that place and that my husband is stubborn. I was able to let my kids play games in the lobby-checkers, chess, cards and there is a camera security system so we felt safe and I even left the kids there a time or two when I went shopping or on a quick run to check the house- (that is how safe I felt). The service there is amazing and it seems like a tight little family owned place. Even at night if you lock yourself out the nice lady comes herself to let you in (she even smiles and says it is no problem). They have a young, sweet maid that does as much or as little as you ask and even got out an art set to play with the kids one evening. There are barbeques by the pool that we took full advantage of since we were all sick of fast food after the first couple of days. The police drive by every so often..I think they must know the front desk ladies as some of them come in and say hi. It was a great experiance and kept very clean. When ever my family comes to visit we will have them stay there. Over all yes it is an old building and needs remodeling but I am so glad we stayed there, clean, friendly people, safe for kids, camera security system, a park right down the road, very close to the casinos, walking distance to stores and great price.
If you plan to stay more that a night or two ask about weekly rates we saved a bundle because they c...
