“Quiet get away - Make sure you get a massage”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2009

Rooms are quaint with some modern features so don't expect hotel quality. They are clean and confortable so for the price, well worth it. Would stay again.

For the part that makes this place worth coming to.

- Off the main road. Some of the other motels are on the busy road, not here. You can sleep in, walk around the property and relax nicely.
- Massages - WoW..... The best massage I have ever had. Let your body go and trust that that they will help your sore body.

This was my first time staying at a B and B, it started off with the staff being soo unorganized for it being a Thursday, only 3 other cars could be spotted in the gravel parking lot. When we checked in, we found out that the Dharma room was unavailable for the second night, so the Mgr took us on a walk about and tried to enter a room that was already rented. As we proceeded across the grounds-which by the way smelt like cat pee and we were shown room unit 2, to our surprise, the maid was watching Desprete Houswives and was laying on the bed---great first impression. As for the Dharma room, a couple of things stood out: the loose wires by the threshold, the improperly installed AC unit with the invasion of bugs, and the soooo small shower that you hit your arm on the side handle and have to go out of the shower and into the bathroom to change your mind. Beware the travelers in the universe going to Bisbee---don't stay there.

As most people who are traveling and looking for a place to stay, many know B&B's are off the beaten track usually owned and run by a family. At the Gardens at Mile High Ranch we are three sisters and a niece who live and work here. Close to 100% off our guests have found this place to be a haven, a wonderful place to rest. Sometimes we cannot get to all of the details of keeping this place "perfect", but we are always working toward improvements. We are always open to hear both the critics and the positive things about your stay. Please come and share the beauty of our property and hospitality.

We came down for a Girls weekend and had the greatest stay at this Bed'n' Breakfast. We were graciously greeted by our hostesses. The grounds were pleasantly surrounded by beautiful trees, gardens, and serene places to relax by a pond, gazebo and outdoor swings.
The room was nicely furnished, clean ,comfortable and had everything that you needed for a relaxing stay. You have the option to have breakfast served in your room in the morning. We chose to eat al fresco under the beautiful trees and fresh air.
The location is very close to the main town. This is a place that I will definitely return to.

This is our third stay at the Gardens at Mile High Ranch. We keep returning when we need a respit from the stress of everyday life. It is situated at the top of Tumbstone Canyon on three acres of of wooded land dotted with ancent cotten wood trees. Yet it is within walking distance of down town Bisbee. One can choose to simply relax in the shade and read (Bisbee is usually ten to twenty degress cooler then Tucson) or explore the shops, art galleries and fine restaurants of this old mining town. The charm, warmth and tranquility of the Gardens is an extension of the three sissters who own it. They are all excellent masseuses. They say it is in their genes. We have experienced various forms of massage therapy in multiple countries, and none exceed there skills. They bring a healthy deliciouse breakfast to your door

We must add an additional note from our dog. They look favorably on pets, and his delight in roaming those three acres if anything exceeds ours.

This was my first experience to Bisbee and the Gardens at Mile High Ranch. When I first drove into town, I was a bit concerned, but was quickly reminded of just how precious quaint little towns can be. The 'Sisters' who own this spa are absolutely amazing and are the best hostess's I've met, and they are also GREAT masseuses. The room my girlfriend and I booked was perfect. The energy that has been beamed into this place, the chakras all aligned, and the beauty of the people are what made this an amazing experience. If you ever get to Bisbee, you must check-in at the Gardens...you will not regret it.

Stayed here on the recommendation of Trip Advisor and its perfect. Quiet, cosy rooms and wonderful massages! The breakfast ($10 extra) is worth getting. Only downside is the slightly too long walk into town but one can't have everything!
