In terms of space and convenience, the Canyon Rose is a fantastic deal! Our small suite was clean and comfortable, with a large kitchen and plenty of closet space. The building is gently worn but not shabby. The staff is friendly and accommodating. But the best thing about the Canyon Rose is its central location and parking lot. On a previous visit to Bisbee we stayed at a private house rental which required us to drive the steep, narrow streets everytime we wanted to go out, and to find non-existent on-street parking. Canyon Rose has a large parking lot available for its visitors, and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go - what a pleasure! I'd recommend this place to all except those who require 600-count egyptian cotton sheets and a minibar stocked with Cristal.

Very nice stay at the restored apartment building. Very clean, full size kitchen, separate bedroom, living area - alittle suite. The building is off the beaten path and less noisy. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc. Coffee, tea, popcorn, etc provided as well as bathroom items. Wendy was very accommodating and let us check in early. Definitely stay there again. Don't miss the museum there.

My wife and I went for a long weekend and loved this old hotel! Large rooms with comfortable surroundings and great ambiance. The staff stayed around to accomodate our late check-in and we did not have any problems or concerns while we were there.

Here and There
Feb 20, 2007

I stayed at the Canyon Rose the week of February 11th and truly wished I didn't have to leave. I had friends staying in other properties (San Ramon, Copper Queen) and found that my room was much larger and better appointed than theirs at a better price! The rooms are airy and comfortable with great beds and well-stocked kitchen facilities. The managers, Brien and Wendy, go to any lengths to accommodate your needs including allowing me a 3 p.m. check out on my final day. Bisbee is a great, eclectic little town, and if you're visiting, what better than to stay at a great, eclectic little suites hotel -- the Canyon Rose!

Just a Bedouin at Heart...
Jan 27, 2007

This cozy little hotel is located in the heart of "Old Bisbee". Everything was within a one or two minute walk. The hotel (presumably a renovated apartment building) was old, but showed character rather than age. The hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, and large windows reminded me of the turn-of-the-century house I grew up in. The bathrooms were spotless, the kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfy and clean. And especially important when Bisbee had its first real snowstorm in many, many years, the hearter worked great! Wendy and Brien (the managers) were always asking how I was doing and whether I needed anything. I loved staying at the Canyon Rose and will do so again!
