We paid almost $300/night for a townhouse. We have lovely views BUT internet service has taken three phone calls and lots of frustration, gas log fireplace didn't work (husband fixed), no continental breakfast included only pricey room service, no refrigerator unless specially requested, no microwave, no MP3 outlet for clock radio, and no heat. The restaurant is not open for breakfast and there is not much else in Whittier. For some reason the hotel turned off the heat, even though the nights are still chilly. While we had an exceptionally warm day today, there is no air conditioning. Air conditioning is opening the windows which have no screens. Lovely hotel but poorly maintained and staffed with sub par amenities. We should not have stayed in Whittier. The Inn at Whittier could be a lovely place to be pampered, but is not. Poor value.
