My parents and I spent one night with David and Charlotte at the Alaska Snowed Inn Bed and Breakfast. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Snowed Inn was very clean and the rooms very spacious and comfortable. The common area was nice for us to hang out together. There was a small refrigerator in the dining room with soft drinks and bottled water; as well as coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and popcorn available for guests to use at their leisure. They'd just installed WiFi, which was nice after a two-night stay in Seward with no internet access. We truly enjoyed getting to know David and Charlotte (fellow brothers and sisters in Christ!) The afternoon we arrived, Charlotte provided us with a map of the area and we drove up through Hatcher's Pass which was gorgeous. Unfortunately, the Independence Mine area had not yet been opened, but the drive was worth it just the same. We then drove over to Palmer to the Musk Ox farm. The animals and the tour were fascinating. Well worth the trip over to see these "critters"!Charlotte's breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, juice, a fabulous breakfast quiche (which had a potato crust instead of pie crust...yummy), and bacon. We truly enjoyed our stay in Wasilla at The Snowed Inn.
