We stayed in a Jacuzzi room which was very clean and huge. The towels were thin but not a big deal really. Refridgerator and microwave which
almost always comes in handy. Views were great. There was a big window
by the jacuzzi which had views of the mountains. Bed was very comfortable. Room service was a little slow but the food was yum when it finally came. The one thing i was disappointed with here was the staff, on check in we didnt get a smile and felt like we were interupting something (solitaire maybe??) at check out we handed over our keys and got asked which room we stayed in, we let her know then she looked up the details in the computer and looked at us and said
'bye' in a tone that was like why are you still standing here. I think
the only member of staff that i saw smile was when we paid for our room service! Another thing that im not into was all the dead animal heads mounted on the wall of the lower level, i guess its kind of Alaskan though but still yuck if you ask me

I will start by telling you that the keys never worked and we had to get them reprogramed every time we left the room. I stayed for my birthday and I told them it was my birthday, they said I would receive a discount (didnt receive discount) . We orderd room service and they added tip to order. When ordering room service they refused us dinner at 8:00pm. The food was undercooked, 2 of the 3 times we orderd. When I wrote the hotel with my complaint they ignored me. I live here in Ak. I could have stayed home and saved my money but I wanted to go somewhere they take care of me and my girlfriend. We were not treated as guests but more like we were trash and they didnt care about our complaints. We would have stayed somewhere else but they were all booked up around here. I do not recomend staying here because You will not be satisfied or treated like you are keeping them in bussiness.

This was by far the worst hotel experience we have ever encountered. This was a beautiful hotel, I will say that.
But the room was cold, lights were burnt out in our room,
they drained the hot tub when they saw the kids. Management
posted an early clousure to the pool only for the dates we had booked. We saw two rats in the hall way, as well as No HOT
Water for the three mornings we were there. They claimed someone had used all the hot water. Please, they had shut off the hot water at 8:00am with a full hotel. With No "Sorry" they were not
friendly. Then they also decided not to serve breakfast, when there were 3 hockey teams in the hotel. All with early games. The last evening we were there, they actually turned off the ice making machines. This place Sucks!

The Good: The restaurant has great food and a friendly staff. The hotel rooms are average and typical. Its a clean hotel with a decent ambiance.
The Bad: Management is terrible and could care less about the guests. I should of known when the front desk lady even said, "Management is bad". The only reason I chose this hotel was for the pool. Which by the way is only 4 ft all around. The hot tub is luke warm as well and you cant get into the pool without getting the front desk to open it. It says something when the staff comes up to you in a grocery store and says sorry for the way management treated you. Not being able to keep staff is another indicator. Not a recommended place to stay.
