“Excellent cabin in wasilla”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2011

My family and I pulled up to the front and saw just how nice they looked on the outside and was even happier about the inside my kids loved it and wished we could stay longer. We there 3 days on our way to ninilchik and had to stay at a Microtel inn on the way back for the same price because this one was not available on return trip. Everything inside and out was clean including the gas grill which looked new. My recommendation is stay here do not go to any hotels in the areas they are the same price or higher and only get one room. Jinny was very friendly and helpful and told us about Hatchers pass which is close by and a excellant place were you drive to the top of the mountain and touch the snow. If we are ever passing thru we will stay there again. Thor Horseman Mt. Sterling Ky

This is a great privately owned property. Rustic yet clean. Great extended stay hotel alternative. Great setting, close to everything in Wasilla but feels remote. I really liked the full size gas barbecues on the front deck. Had a wonderful experience here and have a cabin booked for a trip in June.

While the cabins looked like the perfect place for our family, the proprietor gave our reservation away and didn't call to notify us, because although I had given her both our phone numbers, she conveniently lost them both

Oh my, this was our first visit to Alaska for our daughter's wedding. Kozey Cabins is the only place where we will ever stay! Jinny and her family made our get-away simply lovely. The accomodations were perfect - our teenage and young adult children stayed in the loft upstairs and my husband and I enjoyed our private bedroom downstairs. Simply lovely! Everything outside was green...just perfect. Accomodations were great - all appliances worked, kitchen was furnished with all that we needed. I would recommend it for a vacation get away in Wasilla.

We spent the summer of 2008 at Kozey Cabins and we loved it. The cabins are the best, amazing and just plain homey. Jeannie and her family make you feel like family. The time we spent on the porch and building camp fires was fabulouse. We plan to return soon.

We just spent 5 days in Wasilla visiting family and decided to stay at Alaska Kozey Cabins. The cabin was very conveniently located for the Wasilla area and yet completely private. It was super clean and very nicely furnished, comfortable, a great homey feeling. Everything worked and was in excellent or like new condition. I would highly recommend them and would stay again! We paid $129+tax per night for a one bedroom with loft genuine log cabin. Full kitchen, large bath, even a front porch with rockers and a grill. We found the website, but called to make reservations, which I found better becuse the owner was very helpful and accommodating. Other guests had a dog with them. We tried to do Denali as a day trip, but it was about 4 hours away and I wouldn't recommend it.

The Kozey Cabins are located convenient to Wasilla and Palmer, but far enough off the highway to feel a little bit remote. We loved the quiet location, surrounded by trees.

We were in a 2-bedroom cabin, with bedrooms upstairs, and a cozy living room, kitchen and tiny bathroom on the main floor - perfect cozy space for watching a little TV before bed. Cable is provided, along with DVD/VCR, and the kitchen has basic necessities - plates, pots & pans, cups, etc.

The 1-bedroom cabins have a bedroom on the main floor, and a sleeping loft above.

Kozey Cabins were clean, but rustic - don't expect fancy decor or top-of-the-line facilities. But, you'll be able to relax in the quiet space. Location is convenient to Hatcher's Pass, Eklutna Lake, and other outdoor recreation.
