we were booked into the Pensee hotel but on arrival we was told that the Pensee was full and given rooms in the Utopia. these two hotels are virtually merged together to form one very big complex. the Utopia has recently undergone a revamp so the rooms we stayed in were lovely very clean and spacious with a huge bed. The pools are beautiful and the grounds kept very clean with lots of winding paths and flowers to make walking round the complex a pleasure. the beach in sand and shingle with excellent coral soon as you step ionto the sea.
Overall the food was of a good standard although we found it to be better at the Utopia, slightly more choice. The beer is served lluke warm and we avided it after the first day and stuck to brandy and coke. the hotel does provide you with plenty of bottled water from the bars.
we went on one trip to Dolphin Island which cost £40 each and was a very enjoyable day and we got to swim with the dolphins which was brilliant, however check your equipment when you get it cos it was not all of a good standard most of the life jackets had broken fastenings havin said that they did provide replacements if you spotted it.
the hotel has a mix of guests from different countries, mainly Germany but also Italy, Britain and France.
Beware of stomach upsets! DO NOT go to see the Hotel doctor as he tried to charge us 400 euros for some tablets which the Rep can get for a couple of pounds. the doctors is a bit of a scam charging inflated prices telling you to claim it all back on your insurance!!!
Overall a fantastic holiday, llittle in the way of entertainment at nights but plenty for children. very relaxing and enjoyable.
